Biu Ji – the Emergency “parachute”

Biu Ji is the third form, and trains the student to develop their ability to adapt to a bad situation, and to survive when the odds are against them. Unlike the first 2 forms, the scenario behind this form is the student is injured, out-numbered, or has made a mistake.  This form encourages the student to test their skills and begin to develop their own answers from what they have learned, adhering to the theory of the system, but no longer as a blind follower of a rule set. Hand techniques should be flowing and springy, with a snappiness developing within their forward force. Students are expected to be able to show a degree of ability in dealing with multiple attackers
