Grading System at SCVT
At SCVT there’s a well-designed and structured Grading system of 10 Levels.
The grading System is both a reflection of the Student’s knowledge of the System and Application of the System. The time that it takes to learn the complete system varies by student, however, as a guide for someone who has a basic ability and a firm commitment, it takes typically 3-6 months per grading. The first grading (Level 1) is an informal grading and is awarded to students who show up to 3 month’s commitment to training and our School’s values. Level 10 is where a student has shown the appropriate knowledge, skill and commitment – PLUS opens their OWN SCHOOL.
The timeframes listed are approximate and depend on the individual student. Skilled and “naturally gifted” Wing Tsun practitioners may achieve the results in less time.
